Summary
A bisque headed doll, made by Armand Marseille, with moulded facial features, open and shut brown glass eyes, open mouth with teeth. She has a detached brown mohair wig. She has a composition upper torso with stuffed cloth body and composition or wood jointed arms and hands. Her upper legs are made from stuffed cloth with wooden jointed knees, and composition on wood lower legs and feet. She is wearing a dark red velvet coat with lace trim around the cuffs and neck. It fastens with two metal buttons. She has a green silk dress with lace around the neck and a white cotton petticoat with one pin tuck and embroiderie anglais trim and white cotton pantaloons trimmed with broderie anglais. She has a dark red velvet hat with cream satin and paper lining, decorated with a cream ostrich plume and a metal bow with jewelled decoration.
