Summary
A bisque-headed doll with a clockwork walking mechanism fitted in the circular wooden base which holds three revolving wheels. Open and shut grey glass eyes, open mouth with teeth, and brown mohair wig. Composition(?) body, jointed wooden arms and hands with separately carved or moulded fingers and thumbs. From the waist down the doll is enclosed within a cardboard cone which houses her clockwork walking mechanism and the key. Wearing a pink fabric dress decorated with dirty cream lace around the bodice and at the cuffs of the short sleeves. There is a pink ribbon at the front of the bodice. White stiffened calico petticoat trimmed with lace. Wide, upturned brim straw hat decorated with a pink velvet ribbon and pink fabric flower around the conical shaped crown.
