A baby's long sleeved long dress that is possibly French (early 20th century) which has two layers. The top layer is made of cream coloured embroidered lace the sleeves of which have rows of pintucks. A pale pink ribbon is threaded through at the waist. The lining is of pale pink silk which is edged with lace at the hem and sleeve ends. The neckline has a scalloped edge. The dress opens at the back and is fastened with poppers. The lining shows signs of insect damage and has several brown stains and there are small holes in the net.
