Summary
An 1830s or 1840s child's (possibly a boy's dress) empire line cotton dress with short layered sleeves and an elasticated waist. The dress is decorated with a purple and red diamond pattern. The background is a brown and grey line pattern. The dress fastens at the back with metal hooks and eyes and a white cotton tie.
