Summary
A painted picture of a little boy with black hair wearing only a pair of blue trousers and red braces. In his left hand he holds the end of an enormous yellow ribbon which is tied in a bow around the neck of a large grey elephant. The boy walks along a yellow path with green grass on either side and trees in the distance. The background is left unpainted. The painting is signed Rosalie V. Firth in the bottom right hand corner. It is mounted in a cream mount and framed in a simple black wooden frame. There is a circular stamp on the reverse of the painting which reads 'Schools Loan Collection Derby, Education Office, Becket St. Derby'.

Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mr Peter Good in June 1983.
