Summary
A framed and glazed picture in a plain oak frame with a white card mount. It depicts a small boy with a bright blue jacket and cap and light blue trousers. He stands in front of an easel on which is a painting of a house, holding a paint brush in his left hand and a pot of pink paint in his right. The signature 'Rosalie V. Firth' is at the bottom right corner, and the title 'The Artist' written on the back. A brass mirror plate is screwed to each side of the frame.
