Summary
A pair of folding spectacles, one frame is broken with the lens missing. The frames are of a soft black material, possibly tortoiseshell. The centre of the frame pivots so that the lenses fold over each other. On one side of the lens is a small black piece with a circular loop to hold. The frame of the other lens has a small piece protruding. The case is of brown leather with six sides. The round base is folded. The three upper sides are open. On the front of the case within a gold coloured oval it reads 'J Bateman, Scientific, Optician, 10, Strand, WC And Branches'. Total number of items is 2.
