Summary
A glazed china headed autoperipatetikos doll with black moulded hairstyle, blue eyes and pink cheeks. Leather arms, metal feet and fabric covered cardboard lower body containing clockwork mechanism (circa 1862 to circa 1880). Wearing a pinky-orange dress, with lace trim at neck and light brown lace shawl, with pinky-orange bow at center. Patented in 1862

On the base of the lower body: 'Patented July 15th, 1862; also, in Europe, 20 Dec. 1862.'
