Oil painting on canvas, George Vernon (1635-1702) by John Michael Wright (London 1617 - London 1694). An oval half-length portrait, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the specatator in a long wig, dressed in a grey gold-embroidered doublet with gold embroidered and fringed sword belt and white cravat.
