Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Anna Catherine Vernon, Mrs Richard Lockwood (1710-1757) by Enoch Seeman the younger (Gdańsk c.1694 – London 1744), signed and dated, middle right: "E Seeman 1741." A full-length portrait of a young woman, turned slightly to the right, gazing to the left, wearing a blue gold-embroidered dress, with white satin fur-edged coat, leaning her left elbow against a pedestal half covered with a drape, in an apartment. Sister of George, 1st Baron Vernon. Married her first cousin Richard Lockwood in 1749.

Vernon collection transferred to the Treasury in 1967 following the death of 9th Lord Vernon, and transferred to the National Trust in 1967
