Summary
A late 17th century Dutch walnut rectangular centre table with moulded border containing two frieze drawers raised on spiral supports united by spiral and bobbin-turned 'H' stretchers. The top is finely veneered with a parquetry design of laburnam oysters in stars, circles and semi-circles within chequered ivory borders.
Provenance
Vernon collection transferred to the Treasury in 1967 following death of 9th Lord Vernon, and transferred to The National Trust in 1967.
