A late 17th century English delft 'blue dash' charger painted with a portrait of King William III on horseback, the King in full regalia with crown and sceptre, the horse rearing. Initials 'W' and 'R' painted to either side of the king's head.
Provenance
1944, gifted to the National Trust by Field Marshal Sir Archibald and Lady Montgomery Massingberd.
