Summary
Circular soup plate with scalloped edge and transfer printed in underglaze blue with an eastern landscape. Riverside pavilion, figures, palm trees and flowers and distant buildings. Floral scroll outer border on a diaper pattern background. Manufactured possibly by Charles Neigh or Minton between 1835 and 1849.

Miss Doreen Hunt collection. A gift to the National Trust from Miss Doreen Hunt, in May 1991.

Rose and Violet Wreath printed in underglaze blue on scroll. Indecipherable impressed oval maker's mark.
