Summary
Lozenge shaped, eight-sided sugar bowl, with a gallery rim moulded with acanthus motif, and a moulded plantain leaf border around the base. Transfer printed with a man driving a horse and cart towards a pine tree and Italianate building, border of landscape vignettes. The cover is missing. Possibly manufactured by Thomas Harley of Lane End, Longport circa 1805.
