Summary
Lozenge shaped, eight-sided pearlware teapot with gallery rim moulded acanthus motif, fluted spout and acanthus leaf thumbrest to handle. Separate lid with duck finial. Transfer printed in blue with chinoiserie landscapes. Plantain leaf border to base. Possibly manufactured by Thomas Harley of Longport, Staffordshire, circa 1805.
