Summary
A woman's jacket made from black grosgrain silk. The jacket is decorated on the collar, sleeve-heads and cuffs with black cotton lace and black silk satin rouleaux, with further rouleaux on the hem and a black silk fringe. It has a vent centre back which is decorated with a large black silk satin bow at the apex and a black silk chenille tassel, along with two matching chenille tassels on the cuffs. There are six decorative black silk satin covered buttons on the bib. The jacket is unlined and fastens with three hooks & eyes centre front, intact.
