Summary
A woman's bodice. made from black silk taffeta. Black silk taffeta bodice with short sleeves, trimmed with white cotton lace run through with black velvet ribbon. Front opening and fastening with metal hooks and stitched eyelets. Lined with grey cotton twill. Sleeves lined with brown cotton twill. A handwritten label stitched to an inner boning seam reads, "McDonald-Tyler", the donor.
