Summary
A woman's skirt, part of a dress, made from black silk velvet. The skirt is decorated with four horizontal panels of black silk taffeta trimmed with frills of embroidered silk net in a floral pattern on the skirt front, with five black grosgrain silk bows from waist to hem on the proper right and left hand sides. It is lined with a combination of black silk taffeta and a coarse open weave wool blend around the hem, otherwise unlined. The skirt fastens with three hooks and eyes on the waistband, intact.
