An half-length portrait of a lady, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, with powdered hair worn high, wearing pink dress, silver fichu tied in a bow and a rope of pearls. Early guidebooks and 1930 inventory attribute this portrait to Francis Cotes.
