Summary

Two jars with covers, baluster-shaped with a domed cover with bun finial, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China,1690-1715; decorated in underglaze blue with three registers of ogee-topped panels with mountainous riverscapes alternating with flowering trees issuing from rockwork and plants with in outlines, the neck with a continuous stylised lotus and scrollwork in reserve, similar design on the cover.
