Summary
A four-poster bed, English, circa 1770. The canopy with polychrome-painted cornice, arched at the front and raised on mahogany cluster column posts carved with a central foliate clasp, continuing down to square feet with a further foliate clasp, hung with pink and white floral drapes, having a chain mattress, two hair mattresses, four feather pillows, and a cotton patchwork quilt.
