Summary
Figure of Budai, porcelain, the standing male figure with a smiling joyful expression, with his characteristic long lobed ears, holds out his right hand, he wears a long, voluminous robe open to reveal his chest and rounded belly, his skirt is secured with a tied belt, made in the Dehua kilns in Fujian province, China, c. 1660-1710; the figure is press moulded and glazed.
