Summary
Bowl (écuelle for broth), porcelain, shallow bowl with two serpent or lion-dog headed handles, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China, 1700-1720; decorated in translucent overglaze polychrome (famille verte (Trans. green family)) enamels, sides divided into four panels, each containing blossoming flowers and foliage within bands of black-seeded green ground with flowers and reserves with precious symbols (Babao).
