Summary
Two bottles or rosewater sprinklers, porcelain, of compressed pear shape knobbed and tapering neck, after Indian metal ware forms, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China, c. 1695-1715; decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with four large panels with foliage, insects, small scattered round and leaf-shaped panels with foliate motifs, the base with upright leaf border, diaper band and iron oxide brown dressed foot rim.
