Bottle or rosewater sprinkler, porcelain, of tapering pear shape with knob, after an Indian metal ware form, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China, c. 1695-1710; decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and a iron oxide brown glaze, the brown or cafe-au-lait glaze with foliate reserve panels, painted with foliate designs.
