Summary
Oil painting on canvas, The Penitent Magdalen (after Correggio), after Pompeo Girolamo Batoni (Lucca 1708 – Rome 1787). This is a copy of a painting by Batoni after the original by Correggio, both of which were in the Dresden Museum but destroyed during the Second World War. Another copy is in the Neues Palais, Potsdam.
