Summary
An oak, ebonised, mother-of-pearl and bone inlaid chest, English, circa 1670. The moulded plank top above a frieze inlaid with geometric squares and ebonised buttons and cabochons, above three raised and geometrically-moulded panels flanked by applied split baluster decoration, the central panel formed as a circle within an octagon, on stile feet, some losses to inlay.
