Summary
Regency satinwood workbox with hinged lid. Cavetto lid with inlaid spray of flowers in centre surrounded by two bands of light stringing. Base with reverse ogee shaped sides. Inlaid scrolled foliage around key hole at front of box. Box on four metal ball feet. Base of box lined with leatherette. Mirror in interior of lid. Dividing tray in green upholstered base interior. Compartmentalised tray containing scissors with flower head foliage around handle; piercer with stylised foliate handle; block of wax with engraved caps; four circular pincushions, one other with hexagonal collar. Also containing block of wax with circular mother-of-pearl caps; scent bottle with scotia flutes and reeding along opposite sides. Bottle containing pin. Inscribed - 80 (label)
