Oil painting on canvas, Herbert Croft (1603-1691), Bishop of Hereford by British (English) School circa 1670-1675. A three-quarter length portrait of a cleric, seated to the right, in canonicals, in a red-upholstered chair with gilt fringes, looking out, his right hand on his right thigh, his left hand pointing to a passage in a book upon a table with more books resting on a skull; a yellow curtain behind him.
