Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Head of a Bearded Saint (fragment) (possibly Saint Peter or Joseph), Italian (Bolognese) School, Circle of Guido Reni, 18th century. A head-and shoulders portrait, looking down to right, with halo, wearing white robe with orange robe draped over his shoulders. White hair and a white beard. Clouds to his left and a tree to the right . Possibly a fragment of a larger composition by Guido Reni of St Joseph with the Christ Child in The Hermitage, Leningrad. Framed in carved giltwood frame.
