Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Sir Fulke Lucy, MP (c.1623-1677) of Henbury, British (English) School, circa 1660. A half-length oil painted oval portrait of Sir Fulke Lucy, MP. He is posed slightly to right with a direct gaze to the spectator. He is wearing a long dark wig, blue coat with red lining and a white shirt. In rectangular gilt frame. Sir Fulke Lucy was the fourth son of Sir Thomas Lucy of Charlecote. He never succeeded but was MP for Cheshire in 1664. He married Isabella, daughter of John Davenport of Henbury, Cheshire in circa 1656. The Charlecote estate passed to his son Davenport.

Presented to the National Trust by Sir Montgomerie Fairfax-Lucy (1896 – 1965), two years after the death of his father, Sir Henry Ramsay-Fairfax, 3rd Bt (1870 – 1944), with Charlecote Park and its chief contents, in 1946
