Summary
Oil painting on panel, Ruined Castle on a Lake, in the manner of Richard Wilson, RA (Penegoes 1714 – Mold 1782). On the right a ruined castle on a lake with a ruined bridge of only one span attached to the left of it. Trees on a rocky hill on the left, figures and horses on the edge of the lake, cloudy sky.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
