Oil painting on board, Capriccio with an Archway onto the Lagoon, in the manner of Francesco Guardi (Venice 1712 – Venice 1793). Figures on a terrace with the lagoon seen through an archway, gondola and sailing boats seen in the distance. Label on frame 'F. Guardi 1721-1793'.

Templemore Collection; Leggatt, London 1927. Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
