Sculpture, ormolu, Ganymede, French School. One of a pair of ormolu figures - Ganymede holding cup, partially draped and seated on eagle, on a shaped base with applique acanthus leaves and scrolled feet with beasts' heads, Louis XIV.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
