Summary
Sculpture, copper gilt on cloisonne enamel, Phoenix, Ch'ien Lung (1735-1796). One of a pair of Chinese copper gilt figures of a phoenix standing on a cloisonne enamel rockwork and wave scroll bases. The birds appear to have been added at a later date.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
