Summary
The shaft from one of a pair of Anglo-Saxon stone crosses with carving; design of interlocking Greek keys, knotted shapes and interwoven cross shapes. Mounted on a rough stone plinth of two steps.
Provenance
Removed to Lyme in the nineteenth century, they became integral to the property; property of National Trust. (stated on old inventory card)
