Summary
A portrait of Ann Richmond (1743-1808) in a painted oval; oil on canvas. A half-length portrait of a woman, head turned left with dressed brown hair platted and tied with ribbon, trailing down her neck. Wearing a dark pink evening dress with low neck-line lined with lace and a blue chiffon scarf draped over her right shoulder, tied in a bow at her neck-line; dark shawl draped around her arms. Adorned with string of pearls tied three times round her neck and draped down her chest.
