Oil painting on canvas, Frances Legh of Bruch, Mrs Peter Legh XII (1670-1728) in the manner of Sir Godfrey Kneller (Lübeck 1646/9 - London 1723), 1696. A painted ova half-length portrait, of a young woman, turned slightly to the right, head facing, gazing at spectator, She has dark brown hair dressed with jewels a ringlet falls on her left shoulder, she is wearing a mauve and red cloak/wrap with fringed edge, clasped on her right shoulder and over a white chemise with a low neckline.
