Oil painting on panel, Louise Henriette of Orange-Nassau (1627 - 1667) by Gerard van Honthorst (1590-1656). Half-length portrait, to left in white satin dress and blue-green cloak clasped at left shoulder, wearing a pearl necklace and pearls in her hair.
Provenance
Acquired at the auction of the Craven Collection at Sotheby's in 1968. Accepted by HM Government in lieu of inheritance tax and allocated to the National Trust for display at Ashdown House, 1968.
