Oil painting on oak panel, Seascape: Storm at Sea by Simon de Vlieger (Rotterdam 1601 – Weesp 1653). Seascape of a choppy sea, showing a lugger at left near the shore, shortening sail; a jetty is in the right mid-distance with a lugger in full sail rounding it; boats can be seen out at sea.

At Egremont House Piccadilly on 5th December 1764 and listed at Petworth by 1799.By descent to the current Lord Egremont. On loan from the Egremont Private Collection
