Oil painting on canvas, Ferdinando d'Adda (1649 - 1719), Papal Nuncio by Sir Godfrey Kneller (Lübeck 1646/9 - London 1723), signed: G.Kneller 1687 and inscribed, top left: Dada Nuncio / From the Pope 1687. A half-length portrait of a man, turned slightly to the right, gazing at the spectator, with dark hair, and wearing a white collar, crimson cassock and black vestment or cappa and with a gold cross on his breast.
