Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Possibly Penelope Jenkinson, Mrs William III Blathwayt (d.1755), manner of William Hoare of Bath, RA (Eye 1707 – Bath 1792). The sitter is shown three-quarter length, standing, turned to the left, her left hand by her side and her right resting on a marble-topped table to the left, over which a red curtain is draped. She wears a white satin dress with lace sleeves, a blue bolero trimmed with ermine, and pink cloak.

Indigenous purchased by the Ministry of Works in 1956 and given to Dyrham Park in 1961
