Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Flower Piece by Nicolaes van Veerendael (Antwerp 1640 – Antwerp 1691), signed and dated Nicolaes van verendael / Fecit Ano 1663. A stone urn with decorated scroll-work on a plinth, the central medallion garlanded with flowers.
Provenance
Given to the National Trust along with Stourhead House, its grounds, and the rest of contents by Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt (1865 – 1947) in 1946; on Inter Property Transfer to Dyrham Park since before 1978.
