Summary
Oil painting on oak panel, A Child with a Goat, by a follower of Jacob Gerritsz Cuyp (1594-1651/2). A full-length portrait of a child, in white dress with a pet goat. To Christians goats represented the damned at the Last Judgement, and the picture is probably meant to symbolize childish innocence restraining sin.
