Summary
George III stained oak longcase clock with scrolling top and blind fret cornice, a pair of fluted columns flanking the arched glazed door enclosing a gilt dial with pierced scrolling foliate spandrels, the silvered chapter ring with subsidiary seconds dial and arched date aperture beneath, signed Kent, Saffron Walden, the trunk with quarter elliptical fluted columns on bracket feet. 1760 - 1820.
