Summary
One of a pair of Sevres bleu de roi vase covers to vase 446281.3, with almost cylindrical bodies painted on one side with cupids and on the other with Italianate landscapes, all contained in oval reserved panels; the vase supported on knopped stems and circular feet mounted in ormolu. Maker's mark - interlaced L's in blue. 1770 (circa).
