Figure of a man wearing a black hat, silk coat, yellow-lined red cloak and turquoise breeches, holding a loaf of bread in his left hand. One of a pair of Chelsea groups of vendors, standing beside open laden baskets probably intended to contain sweatmeats. Maker's mark - gold anchor mark. 1760(circa).
