Summary
Soup plate, earthenware, slightly lobed rim with deep well, foot rim, Job Ridgway & Sons, Cauldon Place, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, ca 1808-14; transfer printed in underglaze blue with orange-red and yellow overglaze enamels and gilding, at the centre of the well with a stylised basket of flowers, a repeating looping border pattern around the well, with four groups of stylised antiques and flowers around the flange.
