Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Called Sir Pury Cust (1655-1698/9), manner of John Vanderbank the younger (London 1694 - London 1739), circa 1730 [when Pusy was long dead]. A three-quarter length portrait of a young man, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, leaning on a cane in his right hand his left hand on his hip, he has on a short powdered wig, and wears a brown coat, long buttoned waistcoat and white stock. Distant landscape view on the far right.
