Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Ursula Cust, Mrs Richard Newton (1683/4 - 1757) by an artist in the circle of Michael Dahl (Stockholm 1656/9 - London 1743), early 18th century. A painted oval half-length portrait of a young woman, wearing a blue dress. She was the daughter of Sir Pury Cust (1655 - 1698/9) and Ursula Woodcock, (1659 - 1683/4) and she married, in around 1722, Richard Newton (d.1737), the Treasurer of the Middle Temple.
